Service Temperature for Wines
Red wines are typically served at room temperature (55°F), while white wines are served slightly chilled.
- To chill a bottle of white, rose, sparkling wine, place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours and remove it 20 minutes before serving
- For red wine, place it in the refrigerator 20 minutes before serving, and then remove it when it is time to serve
If you don’t have enough fridge space, place the bottle in an ice bucket filled with water and ice for about 20 minutes.
